Melting Metropolis
Based at the University of Liverpool, UK, and Queens College, New York, Melting Metropolis is a four year long Wellcome-funded project exploring how Londoners, New Yorkers and Parisians have thought and felt about heat and its impact on their health. AoR’s evaluation focusses on partnership working, the public programme and community engagement as well the impact of using historically informed understandings of health and heat to promote positive social change.
